Help Build Your New Fire Station

The Woodland Beach Volunteer Fire Department, now known as the Edgewater Volunteer Fire Department—Home of the Woodland Beach Volunteers—is the cornerstone of safety in Edgewater. It is entering a transformative period in its storied history. As Edgewater grows, so do the demands on our department, highlighting the critical need for expansion.

We are thrilled to announce our major fundraising campaign, "IGNITE the FUTURE - Building Tomorrow’s Fire Station Today." This initiative aims to raise $8,000,000 for a new station on the newly secured land across from the intersection of Routes 2 and 214 on Stepney's Lane.

The new facility will not only house modern equipment and provide ample space for our professionals and volunteers, but it will also stand as a beacon of future readiness, ensuring enhanced safety for our expanding community.

Join us in sparking a movement that secures a safe, resilient future for Edgewater. Support our campaign and help us build more than just a fire station—help us build tomorrow.
